The process of managing
any project is of paramount importance to the success of the
project. Creating an enjoyable remodel experience takes a lot of
time and planning. We know that no matter how good the project
outcome, if the project is not managed efficiently, it will not be a
good experience. With our many years of experience, we have developed
a very comprehensive project management plan which keeps our clients
informed and keeps the project moving toward our promised
completion date. We also assign one project manager to oversee the
project from start to finish. Our typical process is as follows.
Initial Client Meeting One of our designers meets at the client’s home to discuss the
project and client needs. At this time, we will discuss details of
budget, space, design, materials, appliances, flooring,
countertops, fixtures, etc.
Quote & Initial Design Phase Based on our initial meeting, we will generate an initial
proposal, design drawings, elevations, and samples will be selected
for client review.
Follow-Up Client Meeting After the client has reviewed our proposal and initial design
submission, we will meet again to review all aspects of the project
including: design, materials, appliances, flooring, countertops,
fixtures, paint, required permits, etc.
In addition, we will provide
the client with a comprehensive production & construction schedule
detailing each and every phase of the project with specific dates.
Required permits, if applicable will be requested after this
meeting.
Pre-Construction Meeting (on-site) Prior to starting work on-site, we will conduct a
Pre-construction meeting with our assigned project manager and all
involved trade managers to discuss all aspects of the project.
Cabinetry Manufacturing: All shop work (cabinet production) will be completed prior to
the the required scheduled delivery date on the schedule. This
allows us to minimize the amount of time our client's home is in a
construction state.
Remodel
Phase (on-site) Construction begins on-site which includes all aspects of the
project managed by our project manager.
Installation of cabinets, countertops, appliances, fixtures, etc.
will follow the remodel phase
Walk Through (on-site) At the completion of contracted work, our project manager will
perform a walk through with our client to ensure all aspects of the
project have been completed to the highest level possible.
Client Follow-up Several weeks after project completion, we will contact the
client to ensure their satisfaction. If there is any additional
follow up required, the work will be scheduled at that time. Since
the majority of our business is generated by referrals, we place
great importance on making sure every detail is correct and our
client is completely happy with the result.
